In high school	I think I'm more like Mina. I think this because she's human. I'm not spoiled at all. The only thing about her is she's older then me, so I don't know more than she does. I'm normal, by normal I mean not green, not a robot, & not built. I do care about people because I'm not the only one on the planet! I'm not days old. Years old? Yes!

Understanding my main character.
Think about & discuss: Your main character's personality, how they act or behave, what they look like, how old they are, their education, friends & family, financial situation, job.

I'm reading iDrakula by Bekka Black.
My main character is Mina Murray. Her personality is very curious. I think this because she wonders about many things. Like how Renifield got the way he was, crazy. Also she wonders about how Lucy's, her best friend, went missing! Mina is also very caring. She cares about her boyfriend, Jonathan, when he goes to Romania. Mina is around 18 maybe, because in the book Jonathan said something about how he's only 18. & so she's around that age too. I think Mina is maybe out of high school already. Yes, Mina has friends. Lucy, Jonathan, & Abe (A doctor). Mina doesn't have a job. In the book I didn't find anything that described her. i couldn't find anything about her financial situation. Mina behaves really brave! I think this because she gets bitten by something & she's not scared.. Maybe a little, But if you got bitten by who knows what, you wouldn't track down what it was would you? Sneak into someone's castle, search for a dead body in the cemetery? No, didn't think so..

Review the book description found on the back cover of your book. Using the information, and this information alone, construct two alternate titles for the book that appeal to you.Pick one of the two titles and create a catch phrase and movie poster. Describe (using language that will explain what you are talking about so that we can "see" it) the movie poster to sell the new titled novel.

As I continue to read Beastly by Alex Flinn. I think I can make up two other titles for my book.
Choice 1: The Beast who cried for True Love. The catch phrase would be "Love me & I'll become everything you've always wanted."
Choice 2:  Not so Perfect. The catch phrase would be "I'm Human, just not in that way."

Uhmm.. I think I would choose The Beast who cried for True Love.
The cover I think would look black all around && it's smooth, it shines when you move it & a little gray heart in the middle the same size as your thumb. The title would be in yellow, like really yummy lemonade! The cover would look like it got torn apart with a big scratch coming down the front.

Give the title, author, publisher, copyright date, genre (how do you know the genre - fro the back of the book, title page, text?), a description of the cover of the book, and the main character(s) that you have met so far and on what page you first met them. Use complete sentences and ensure that you have proficient mechanics.

Beastly By Alex Flinn, published by HarperCollinsPublishers 2007, the genre is fantasy! I know this because Ms. Luthey told me, another reason why I would know the genre of the book is because on the back it said "An engrossing tale -VOYA" & when I saw the word Tale I thought of fairy tales.  :D The cover of the book looks like ah romantic book because it has a flower, white rose, but it didn't look so interesting because it only had the white rose & the title.

The characters I have met in the story are:Kyle, he's the main character! I think he's the main character because I met him on page one & he was telling the story about himself. Then Mr. Anderson, he runs a computer chat room to help people who have been turned into what they are or who want to be transformed into something or someone. Silent Maid, she's a mermaid. She falls in love with a man she saved in the sea. Froggie, i met him on page 2(before part one). Last I met grizzlyguy, he just wants too talk about some girls. (pg. 3 before part one)
I'm starting to wonder who these characters are because of their names & the Disney movies.

Thinking About Your Main Character In Your Book, Consider What You Would Do In Their Situation. -What Would Your Reaction Be? -How Would You Handle The Situation? -What Would You Do Differently? Show Evidence.

If I Was In Ellie's Shoes, My Reaction Would Be 'I'm Really Confused' Because How Can Someone Like Marco Know About The Olden Days? Not A lot Of People Like To Study What Happen A Thousand Years Ago. I Would Handle This Situation By Trying To Just Forget What Happened, Because Maybe It Was Just A Cowincidence & He Didn't Mean To Talk About Camelot & How It Was Kinda What Was Happening To Ellie. What I Would Do Differently Is Ask Marco What He Was Talking About Like If I Didn't Know, But I Did. Just To Make Things Clear & Find Out What He Was Trying To Say.

Using My notes I Can See That Ellie[Main Character] Is Falling For A Guy Named Will[2nd Character], But Will Is Taken By Jennifer[3rd Character]. Will Invited Ellie To A Party, Ellie Was Looking For Lance[4th Character] Because  They're Partners In World Lit. & Their Teacher Found Out That They Weren't Working Together, Anyways, Ellie Went Upstairs & Found Lance & Jennifer Together Kissing! : O Ellie Wanted To Tell Will What Was Going On, But Will's Step Brother Marco, Didn't Let Her, & Then Marcos Was Telling Her Something About The Old Days, You Know About Camelot, How Lancelot[Lance], Guinevere[Jennifer] & Elaine[Ellie], & Ellie Was Suppose To Fall For Lancelot Instead Of King Arther Which Was Will.
