12.10.10 Reading Response

As We Are Reading Poetry & Looking At Various Parts Of Poems, Can You Notice Some Of The Figurative Language In Your Independent Reading?

In My Book I Think There Is A Simile It Said "It Was Like She Was Watching Well A Snake Wondering If It Was The Nice Kind, Like The One I'd Fish From The Pool..."
I Think A Symbol Is "I Forgot. You Like Being Will's Lapdog & Doing Everything He Tells You"
A Metaphor Could be "Came To Young Lovers Lately Wed; 'I Am Half Sick Of Shodows'..."
From My Song On the Moodle There was A Personification 'All Hearts Could Be Warmer'
In My Book It Has A Onomatopoeia " The Ocean Breeze Snapped At The Sail Above Our Heads"...
An Aliteration In My Book Is "Say Something Man."
I Just couldn't Find An Idiom.

12.3.10 Reading Response

Thinking About Your Main Character In Your Book, Consider What You Would Do In Their Situation. -What Would Your Reaction Be? -How Would You Handle The Situation? -What Would You Do Differently? Show Evidence.

If I Was In Ellie's Shoes, My Reaction Would Be 'I'm Really Confused' Because How Can Someone Like Marco Know About The Olden Days? Not A lot Of People Like To Study What Happen A Thousand Years Ago. I Would Handle This Situation By Trying To Just Forget What Happened, Because Maybe It Was Just A Cowincidence & He Didn't Mean To Talk About Camelot & How It Was Kinda What Was Happening To Ellie. What I Would Do Differently Is Ask Marco What He Was Talking About Like If I Didn't Know, But I Did. Just To Make Things Clear & Find Out What He Was Trying To Say.
